Australian Story: Louise Johnson on donor linking

Linking donor conceived people with donors is new territory with a wide variety of relationships created from those linkages.

This interview was recorded before the implementation of new legislation on 1 March 2017 that gives all Victorian donor-conceived people, regardless of when they were born, a right to know their donor’s identity without having to receive consent from their donor for the release of this information. As a result of this legislative change, donor-conceived people born before 1998 now have the same rights as those born after 1998.
