We are making changes to protect the health and safety of our staff, our clients and the wider community. VARTA is aiming to continue its normal service provision in coming weeks and months, however there may be delays or changes to our activities.
Please submit all registrations and applications (e.g. to donor registers; for import/exports) using the email@example.com email.
Below is a list of updates for specific VARTA services you may be interested in. Thank you for your patience during this time.
If you are planning to start fertility treatment or are currently receiving treatment, you can access more information about the impact of COVID-19 on fertility treatment and pregnancy here.
To reduce the risk of transmission, all counselling sessions for donor register services are now being done via Skype, Zoom or telephone.
All group meetings, including our support groups, are being postponed or held via Zoom. Participants will be notified and updated information will be posted on relevant VARTA website pages soon. You can read more about registering your interest for virtual support group meetings here.
Applications to the Voluntary and Central registers
As VARTA staff adjust to new systems, there may be delays in processing applications for the Voluntary and Central Registers.
Time to tell seminar
Our annual Time to Tell seminar is still being planned for 2020, however it is not yet clear when this will run. We will post updates on the VARTA website in future.
We will continue to post updates about significant changes to our services on the VARTA website homepage. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
