Journey to parenthood using donated sperm

Listen to this three part series on Dianne's journey to parenthood as a single mother using donated sperm, talking to her children about donor conception and meeting her sperm donor, Adrian.

"My first child is five and a half now and my second child is 20 months.  It wasn’t “so Mum who’s my Dad” type of question.  It was “other kids have Dads where’s mine? So it was up to me to say that she did have a Dad and explain to her that he didn’t live with us".

Melbourne (Formerly) Anonymous Sperm Donors - MADMen

MADMen is a group of men who were sperm donors for IVF programs in the 1970s and 1980s. The group formed in early 2013 as a result of increasing numbers of sperm donors contacting VARTA in response to media and parliamentary attention to the issue of connection (or lack of connection) between sperm donors from the early era of donor IVF and their offspring.
