Talking With Family & Friends About Being A Donor
Just as it is important for donor-conceived people to be aware of their origins, it is also important for your children to know you have donated. As families may contact you in the future via the donor treatment registers, it is suggested you inform your own family prior to this occurring so there are no surprises. Children usually take this information in their stride and respect your act of generosity. They may be interested in having some contact with their genetic half-siblings.
