Important changes to legislation

Children born from 2010, through donor treatment, will be able to apply for a copy of their birth certificates at 18 years of age from the Victorian Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages.  An addendum to the certificate will inform the adult that additional information about their birth is available.  This means that young adults are likely to find out that they are donor-conceived at some stage.

It is far better that this informaiton comes from you in a loving way than from an unexpected event such as this.
