VARTA's Gifts, benefits and hospitality policy

The Gifts, Benefits and Hospitality policy (Policy) states Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority’s (Authority) position on: • responding to offers of gifts, benefits and hospitality • providing gifts, benefits and hospitality This policy is intended to support individuals and the Authority to avoid conflicts of interest and maintain high levels of integrity and public trust. The Authority has issued this policy to support behavior consistent with the Code of conduct for Victorian public sector employees (Code). All employees are required under clause 1.2 of the Code to comply with this policy.

Guidance Note for ART providers on legislative changes

This Guidance Note is intended to provide implementation support to registered assisted reproductive treatment providers (ART providers) in Victoria to ensure a smooth transition to new laws relating to the removal of existing requirements to conduct criminal records and child protection order checks under the Assisted Reproductive Treatment Act 2008 (ART Act).
